The “First Report on the Liquidity of the Secondary Market of the Italian Government Bonds – Year 2022” has been published.
The Report, conceived by the partnership among the Public Debt Directorate of the Department – MEF, MTS S.p.A and CRIEP, aims to make available a set of analytical insights to better understand the evolution over time of the liquidity of the interdealer wholesale market MTS Italy. Moreover, using statistical tools, the Report gives a glance at the efficiency of the functioning of this market under multiple perspectives such as bond quoting and trading activities.
The first edition of the Report, to be published on a yearly basis, has been presented on the 19th of May 2023 by:
